The objective was to create a world class television consultancy specializing in news and current affairs channels. Network1 also diversified into independent television production, TV presentation and technical consultancy.

Today Network1 is a complete end-to-end solutions provider for television channels. With experience in launching and operating television channels to executing turnkey projects, the consultancy has today diversified into professional training and education.

Network1 Institute of Media Studies was established in 2004 and has government recognized bachelors and master's degree courses besides short certificate courses and also ran a media school for 3 years with considerable success from Chandigarh.

Network1 is currently engaged in providing consultancy to two TV projects in India.
